| Our client offers a breadth of services, including strategy development, financial services, valuation, emerging technology services, information management, litigation support, and claims processing. Their clients include Fortune 100 companies, as well as the 50 largest investor-owned utilities, the 20 largest gas distribution companies and the 12 largest local exchange telecommunications companies in the United States, all of whom benefit from their expertise, knowledge, and sophisticated approaches to value creation. They are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. They are currently seeking Director level Financial Advisory Consultants for their energy practice based in the Boston area. The ideal candidate must have a proven record of new business development, service delivery, and 10 or more years of consulting experience in the electric/gas utility industries. This individual must have proven track record booking $1-$3 Million in annual sales for their current employer and demonstrate consulting experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Expert in electric and gas asset divestiture and acquisition process, marketing, auction design/mgmt., environmental assessments and valuation; Corporate M&A services including targeting of firms, valuation, due diligence, financial advisory services to Board of Directors, anti-trust and securities analysis; Energy commodity risk management services including development of hedging and derivative strategies, VAR assessments, option valuation and risk management training; Valuation services, including business unit/corporate valuations, decision analysis based on financial assessments, certified appraisals, fairness opinions and corporate portfolio value assessments; Transactional support services, including contract development, bidder support, marketing and communication programs, labor negotiations, asset separation studies and real estate /boundaries management; Strong project management skills with large assignments. Requirements: educational background in engineering, economics, finance, industrial management, or related degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment are necessities. 40% travel will be required. |
