| As a DSET Software Developer, you will develop CMIP/TMN code for BTM Digital Crossconnects using DSET development software. As a team member, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a CMIP-based Network Management Interface for a next-generation optical SONET/ATM crossconnect system. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development of; 1. Managed Object Classes (M3100, X.721, 0.822, G.774, etc.) 2. Application interfaces and gateways and 3. Robust framework for abstraction of the Agent Toolkit APIs: Database Interface, and Security Features. You will develop this software using C/C++ in a Sun Solaris environment targeted for a distributed Real Time Embedded architecture. The qualifications for this opportunity include 1. Fluency in C++ and C 2. TMN Development Experience 3. Expertise in GDMO and ASN.1 notation 4. Proficiency with modern network management protocols, specifically CMIP and 5. Close familiarity with Sonet and ATM related ITU and Bellcore standards (such as M3100, X.721, Q.822, G.774 etc). It would be a major advantage if this individual has familiarity with 1. DSET GDMO Agent Toolkit 2. DSET DSG Distributed Framework 3. Shlaer-MeIIor OOA/OOD Methodology 4. Object Databases and 5. Understanding of TL1. |
