The candidate selected as a Manufacturing Manager will be involved in the Packaging Automation Division of our client. The primary responsibility will be to supervise a highly qualified engineering/manufacturing staff responsible for the design, building and integration of automated primary and/or secondary packaging equipment and/or systems: control systems (PLC and PC), vision, conveyors, accumulating and collating, case/carton/bag handling, case forming/closing/packing, data acquisition and management, robotics.
The primary requirements for this opening include:
5 years minimum manufacturing and/or project management experience
Packaging automation experience
Strong installation leadership and support background
Strong organizational skills developed from previous project management experience
Ability to develop and follow through on detailed operation/installation/implementation plans
Ability to establish good, strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
Ability to determine resources and capabilities to supply products to meet customer requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects to insure overall costs and delivery targets are met
Act as technical resource to address and resolve customer inquiries, problems and complaints
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to meet ISO and QS requirements
