The candidate selected as a Manufacturing Manager will be involved in the Packaging Automation Division of our client. The primary responsibility will be to supervise a highly qualified engineering/manufacturing staff responsible for the design, building and integration of automated primary and/or secondary packaging equipment and/or systems: control systems (PLC and PC), vision, conveyors, accumulating and collating, case/carton/bag handling, case forming/closing/packing, data acquisition and management, robotics.
The primary requirements for this opening include:
• 5 years minimum manufacturing and/or project management experience
• Packaging automation experience
• Strong installation leadership and support background
• Strong organizational skills developed from previous project management experience
• Ability to develop and follow through on detailed operation/installation/implementation plans
• Ability to establish good, strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
• Ability to determine resources and capabilities to supply products to meet customer requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects to insure overall costs and delivery targets are met
• Act as technical resource to address and resolve customer inquiries, problems and complaints
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to meet ISO and QS requirements
