Our client is a global supplier of flexible automation products, systems and customer service to the automotive and automotive parts industries, general industry, and the consumer goods industry.

Due to a major program initiative our client won from USPS, they are currently seeking a highly qualified Project/Site Managers who would be part of the Distribution Systems Division.

About The Distribution Systems Division: (The USPS Robot Containerized Systems (RCS)

Two Gantries, No Waiting. Our clients RCS is a high-throughput robotic system capable of processing Mail Transport Equipment (MTE) - such as MM, EMM,SMM and flat tubs - at a sustained peak of more than 15 pieces per minute. It features an innovative double-gantry design, with each gantry in turn divided into two zones, allowing one side of the gantry to continue sorting operations while the other side is undergoing cart exchange or maintenance. The result is superior speed and availability.

But all that speed doesn't mean you have to sacrifice accuracy. Thanks in part to innovative placement of bar code reader's and the robot's pick-up point, the RCS virtually eliminates the possibility of mis-sorted mail.

Jobs Description:

Your Primary Responsibilities as a Site/Project Manager for the USPS project includes facilitating:

• the installation of accurate and complete systems on time and within budget.
• Continued improvements to project execution process
• customer & client communication link at the website

Experience/special Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years experience in project management (planning, monitoring, expediting, scheduling, communicating).
• Responsible for specific projects from receipt of material through final customer acceptance.
• Project team leader for specific projects.-handle mulitiple projects/priorities.
• Strong installation leadership and support background.
• Proficient in mechanical/controls design of automation Systems. Assist in training other employees.
• Computer skills in MS applications.
• Ability to interact with customers, develop and implement solutions.
• Ability to analyze issues, establish plans and manage execution. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Satisfy demanding/challenging customers facing unique ways of applying client's automation.
• Identify opportunities for Improving efficiencies. Travel 90% (field positions).
