Today, they are enhancing and broadening the fundamental competitive advantages of the direct model by increasingly applying the efficiencies of the Internet to its entire business. Forty to 50 percent of of their sales are Web-enabled, and about 40 percent of our clients’ technical support activities and about 70 percent of their order-status transactions occur online. They are a key partner with many of its customers in helping them deploy the technology they need to capitalize on the efficiencies of the Internet.

They are currently seeking a highly qualified ISP Program Manager who will be part of our clients’ expanding Internet Program Management team. The selected candidate will drive Internet Service Provider (ISP) core teams to develop and implement dial and broadband ISP solutions for our client domestically and internationally. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with Product Marketing and Engineering to define Internet Service Provider (ISP) solutions, organizing a core team to implement the program, and driving the program to on-time completion. This involves managing a cross-functional team of people who in turn will be managing various elements of the overall solution.

Candidate needs to have Industry Knowledge of:

• International telephony markets
• Domestic Internet access market
• Domestic Broadband access market
• Domestic and International connectivity
• Business and consumer Internet access and content markets

Candidate needs to have Program Management experience with:

• Communicating to both engineers and marketers
• Financial and P&L understanding
• Developing and executing comprehensive product launch plans
• Managing a portfolio of sustaining products
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive programs cross-organizationally.
• Ability and confidence to comprehend all aspects of the solutions, work compromises where appropriate, and stand firm when the situation arises.
• Ability to clearly communicate and sell ideas to senior management.

Preferenced Qualifications include:

• Candidate should have 5+ years experience managing cross-functional teams in the software/internet/broadband industry.
• Candidate must have demonstrated success at driving product leadership with creativity and strong economic results in a fast paced and dynamic, start-up environment.
• Internet industry background, Internet-related program management experience and MBA qualifications are highly desired. Candidate must demonstrate clear track record of leadership in an ambiguous environment, strong organization/communication skills, and strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage 1-4 programs at once is a must.
