Our client is a leader in the design, manufacture, installation and service of systems to control energy use, heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, lighting, security and fire management for nonresidential buildings. Products range from room thermostats to computer-based systems.

Our client is currently seeking a highly qualified Market Manager. This is a newly created position within the organization offering great exposure to top management. In this position which is part of a joint Systems and Services/Systems Products effort you will focus on the "critical environments" markets as served by Systems and Services.

This includes the Industrial markets encountered in several of their vertical market segments. The Industrial market includes manufacturing companies nationally: Bio-medical/pharmaceutical, high-tech, automotive, transportation, etc. You will focus on developing "enterprise-wide infrastructure development" market solutions and business opportunities which would then be presented to top management who are looking for your expertise in driving this business forward. These solutions can also include packaging our clients’ products and services with other third party vendors that you will seek out. In addition, you will work directly with the our clients’ National Accounts team as well as Product Managers focused on specific product categories.

Your primary responsibilities would include:

• assessing "critical environment" market needs and their related business objectives
• formulate product and service strategy and plans required for SSNA's success in serving these markets
develop product roadmaps and marketing requirement specs with Product Managers to provide products needed to support the selected industrial market segment objectives
packaging existing products and services
• developing sales collateral materials, processes and training
• deploying product and service solutions, and sales support.

Required Qualifications include:

• a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
• 5-10 years in sales or marketing technical products or services.
• demonstrated ability to conduct a market needs assessment and develop a market strategy to achieve targeted objectives
• demonstrated ability to translate market needs into product and services required to meet those
• needs
• demonstrated ability to manage a long term project involving multiple departments and deliverables, experience in developing partnerships with suppliers, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
