Our high tech, electronics is currently seeking a highly qualified Regional Sales Manager who will oversee 4 District Sales Managers, up to 20 Sales Engineers and 2 Technical Application Engineers for a region that includes Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. This territory currently has annual sales of over $100 Million and has been growing at 10-15% annually.

The primary job responsibilities will include:

• Meeting and/or exceeding sales quota for the given region of 10% or more growth annually
• Full responsibility for planning, organizing and staffing this region
• Developing, executing and implementing a yearly strategic business plan for the region to include forecasting next year projected sales and your plan for achieving these results
• Follow through and execute to make sure big pieces of business have closure
• Provide monthly reporting to top management on your specific region
• Supervise, manage and train sales engineers
• Travel of 40-50%, although a majority of travel will take place in the Northern California area

In addition, the ideal candidate will have connector or related product experience and will have a good understanding of the market place and key clients.
