The individual selected as a Market Research Sales Manager will be responsible for the strategic objective of maximizing revenue generation and expanding the current client base specific to the Market Research Division. A knowledge of market research is essential. A qualified candidate will have experience in making presentations to the highest level executives within corporations. Necessary experience will include study design, proposal writing, and questionnaire development.

In addition to having an established network of contacts and sales relationships a qualified candidate will also be expected to evaluate and define prospective clients with the purpose of cold calling, prospect qualification, strategic sales process planning, exploring and closing all revenue opportunities. In addition, the Market Research Sales Manager will frequently interact with senior management as an executive resource when needed.

The Market Research Division provides services to a broad range of companies including: Microsoft, IBM, Nortel, Motorola, AT&T, as well as other market research companies. Services include research in advertising, marketing, customer satisfaction, name testing, image study, product evaluation, and more. The division General Manager is brings the market research group more than 30 years experience in successfully providing Market Research services.

The individual selected to fulfill the expectations of this position will be joining an existing sales group. They will, however, be the only individual dedicated to the sale of Market Research services. As such, they will also be responsible for assisting in the establishing process and structure for a dedicated Market Research Sales Group.

Qualifications

Five or more years in Market Research sales within large Enterprise accounts.
• Experience consistently exceeding quota of greater than $1.5 Million.
Proven Track Record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota.
Must have high ethics, integrity, humility and have a desire to build a World-class sales and support organization.
Must have strong knowledge of Market Research concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with conviction.
Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with CXOs.
Formal sales training a must Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred.
Strong background in Internet preferred.
