Your primary responsibilities as Sales Manager would include managing all aspects of the sales function and ensuring a smooth transition from sales order to finished product. Your specific job functions include:
Follow sales policies and procedures
Determine in accordance with top management the radius of the sales territory and the process for its penetration and expansion
Evaluate accounts and territories for profitability/potential and communicate same to top management
Responsibility for marketing, advertising, travel & entertainment and sales forecasts
Collect any past due accounts
Maintain and administer call reports
Perform estimations and quotations
Coordinate distribution and delivery of product
Manage gross profit of jobs and
Manage to a selling expense budget.
