Our client offers a breadth of services, including strategy development, financial services, valuation, emerging technology services, information management, litigation support, and claims processing. Their clients include Fortune 100 companies, as well as the 50 largest investor-owned utilities, the 20 largest gas distribution companies and the 12 largest local exchange telecommunications companies in the United States, all of whom benefit from their expertise, knowledge, and sophisticated approaches to value creation. In addition, they are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive specifically focused on developing new business to companies with 100 million in sales and larger. While this individual may have a generalist background in consulting, there must be a demonstrated "track record" of selling an intangible service to CEO's and decision makers. This individual will introduce our consulting organization and its services to individuals within potential client companies who have buying authority.

Therefore the sales executive will be a seasoned sales consultant who has most probably worked in a consulting environment. Ideally this individual will have a background in selling consulting services with a focus on high tech, utilities and energy, marketing strategy and legal.

This individual will operate with the support of a research and telemarketing group who will be responsible for scheduling these executive meetings.

Ideally, this candidate will be coming out of a consulting company where they have a dedicated senior sales group. This group's mandate is to develop "new" and to a lesser degree "repeat" business. This will require that the sales executive work closely with the client in designing strategy for analysis and implementation. This executive, however, will not be "on site" for implementation work. They will, however, stay in very close contact with the top client regarding the consulting project.

The ideal candidate could have come up through the consulting ranks or they could have been a very senior sales executive selling intangible services. They will have a proven track record as a "single contributor." They will be highly self motivated and money motivated.
