| Our client is the world's leading supplier of software for information management, and the world's second largest independent software company. The company offers its database, tools and application products, along with related consulting, education, and support services, in more than 145 countries around the world. Our client is the first software company to develop and deploy 100 percent internet-enabled enterprise software across its entire product line: database, server, enterprise business applications, and application development and decision support tools. Our client is currently seeking a Vice President-Sales for I-Business specifically focused on their main "internet product and Dot.Com Organizations". This individual must have a proven ability consulting and selling to Fortune 500 companies as well as a proven operational/ implementation background in supply chain & collaborative design. Your job will consist of a split between sales and consulting implementation. Your primary function will be as an individual contributor. Your primary responsibilities will include: Building their high profile "business to business" internet product offering This person needs to understand how to put together extremely complex deals as this deals with their product where their clients and our client make money from a vendor/supplier Business to Business auction/procurement process. In addition, you may be involved in some joint venture work w/partners. Ideally this candidate will come from a strong consulting and sales background. Initially, this position does not have a sales quota. |
